May BA Leader Meeting - Embracing the New Leader Archetype

Tuesday, May 23, 2017 -
4:00pm to 5:30pm

Overview

The new leader in today’s changing world shifts from “I” to “we,” and recognizes the value of diversity amongst the team, putting the interest of others ahead of own self-interest. Initiatives are lead through the creation of vision, inspiration, and collaboration with team members. The leader in today’s era connects to a team member’s sense of identity and to the collective identity of the organization; serving as a role model for team members in order to inspire them and to raise their interest and engagement in the project. This leader uses coaching skills to encourage teams to take greater ownership for their work by understanding their strengths and weaknesses, and aligning them with tasks that enhance their performance.

Participants of this workshop will be able to:

  • Prepare a personal mission statement articulating their personal vision
  • Define their personal brand as a part of their leadership style
  • Examine and be able to identify the different personality types found in teams
  • Leverage the HumanSigma concept when coaching team members

Please Note: The BA Leader meeting is followed by a Chapter Meeting which is free with your BA Leadership meeting registration.  The coupon code for the free admission to the chapter meeting with a BA Leadership registration is "20170523BALEADER".  Please enter this coupon at the time of checkout.
