President

As President, Angie Buchholz is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Chapter membership plan that assures continued growth through recruiting and partnering with major community employers. This position is also responsible for proactive solicitation and acquisition of sponsorship support in various forms, including financial, facilities and supplies.

Angie is a Senior Business Systems Analyst at U.S. Venture, Inc. Angie has 15+ years of experience in the Business Analysis field including leading and managing large and small project, implementation of Business analysis process improvements, and holds a Green Belt in Continuous Improvement. Angie has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management and carries a Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance license with the State of Wisconsin.

Angie enjoys spending time with her family; Downhill skiing, water skiing, spending time on the water (when the Wisconsin winters let up), and spending time boating.

President-Elect

The President-Elect has a primary responsibility to mentor under the President and acquire a thorough knowledge of the duties and accountabilities of the presidency.  This position will also strive to learn as much as possible about the Chapter, the membership and the Board’s efforts to achieve the mission and objectives.

VP of Administration

As the VP of Administration, Shelby Hujet is responsible for maintaining accurate records of chapter activities, business, and is the primary custodian of official chapter documents. Among other activities, this position is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom the Board's business was conducted.

Shelby is a Business Analyst in the IS department at Schreiber Foods and is primarily responsible for project work and support relating to purchasing, receiving and accounts payable.  She also works with other areas of the organization on large projects performing analysis, gathering and managing requirements, testing and implementation.  Prior to Schreiber Foods, Shelby was a Business Analyst at Humana Insurance for 7 years and worked on projects relating to Compliance, Commissions and Health Care Reform. 
 
Shelby enjoys spending time with family, cooking and baking, and playing softball and volleyball.
 

VP of Events

Vice President of Events is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of the Chapter programs. This includes developing programs for the Chapters bimonthly meetings, securing program speakers as well as scheduling meeting locations and dinners.

VP of Education and Certification

As VP of Education and Certification, Jo Ann is responsible for the chapter's educational and professional development programs designed to increase the competence of the business analysis community, as well as promote and educate the membership on the IIBA’s business analysis certifications.  This position is also responsible for promoting business analysis and developing business analysis skills at the chapter level by securing qualified speakers to deliver educational topics and programs at meetings, events, seminars, and workshops.

Jo Ann Giese-Kent loves to teach others about business.  As the Business Analyst Instructor at Moraine Park Technical College, she facilitates learning in the online Business Analyst associate degree program along with other business courses including Introduction to Business, Marketing Principles, and Personal Branding.  Jo Ann has over 25 years of experience in marketing, research, and analysis in a variety of industries including higher education, economic and entrepreneurial development, banking, and direct marketing.  She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA from UW-Oshkosh and completed a MSOE Lean Lead Facilitator Certificate.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and landscaping with native wildflower and prairie plants.

VP of Finance

As the VP of Finance, Cheri Schettl, CPA, is charged with the stewardship of the Chapter's finances and the management and reporting of the Chapter's financial position.  This position keeps the board of directors informed of key financial events, trends and issues in addition to ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory reporting.

Cheri is a Senior Business Analyst at UnitedHealth Group. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group in 2012, she worked at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for twenty one years; nine years as a Senior Business Analyst and twelve years in Financial Analysis and Expense Management. Prior to joining Thrivent in 1991, Cheri worked six years in public accounting.  Cheri has an interest in business architecture, metrics and cost benefit analysis and hopes to capitalize on these interests within her role as a business analyst.

Cheri is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Public Accountants (WICPA).  In addition to being a CPA, Cheri is a CumLaude graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with an undergraduate degree in Finance. She is an incorporating officer for WI BADD® and serves as the Treasurer. In prior years, Cheri has volunteered by serving as both a Director and Treasurer for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh-College of Business Alumni Association and serving as a member of the Financial and Audit Review Committee of the United Way Fox Cities.
 

Director of Accounting

The Director of Accounting reports to the Vice President of Finance and is responsible for the chapter budgeting, income/expense tracking and financial institution reconciliation.

VP of Membership and Sponsorship

As the VP of Membership and Sponsorship, Shawn Diamond is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Chapter membership plan that assures continued growth through recruiting and partnering with major community employers. This position is also responsible for proactive solicitation and acquisition of sponsorship support in various forms, including financial, facilities and supplies.

Shawn has been at Oshkosh Corporation since 1997 and currently holds a position of a Principal Business Analyst in IT. Shawn and has supported the Global Integrated Product Support Division (Parts, Service, Training, and Manuals) during its rapid growth since 2001. At Oshkosh, Shawn gathers and manages requirements for projects of all sizes. Shawn holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Geology and Astronomy from UW Madison and became a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) in 2012.

Shawn enjoys spending time with his fiancé, family and friends as well as biking, and enjoying Wisconsin's roads, trees, parks and lakes. 
 

Director of Membership

The Director of  Membership reports to the Vice President of Membership and Sponsorship and concentrates on increasing membership value. This position also focuses on the member value proposition, by creating and delivering programs that provide benefits to our membership and increase engagement within the Chapter. Expanding membership through development of relationships with existing Chapter members is also an essential responsibility.

Director of Sponsorship

The Director of Sponsorship is primarily focused on growth and retention of our Chapter sponsors and reports to the VP of Membership and Sponsorship.  This position is responsible for sponsor recognition and proactively marketing the benefits of sponsorship throughout the region to organizations benefiting from the value that Business Analysts provide.

VP of Strategy

The VP of Strategy provides leadership for the promotion and implementation of the Chapter's strategic initiatives. This position is also responsible for creation and leadership of member committees to assist in fulfilling the Chapter's strategic initiatives.

VP of Technology and Communication

As the VP of Technology and Communication is responsible for the technologies that support Chapter communications and operations. This position is responsible for the Chapter’s website maintenance and technical infrastructure, and the development and delivery of communications to membership and subscribers.

Director of Technology and Communication

The Director of Technology and Communication reports to the Vice President of Technology and Communication and helps maintain the technologies that support Chapter communications and operations. The position also helps with the Chapter’s website maintenance and technical infrastructure, and the development and delivery of communications to membership and subscribers.
